Job Description of Sr Maintenance Technician

Work as a team to accomplish daily task lists and keep up with advanced building and vehicle maintenance. Work with the management team, giving feedback on long-term projects and daily/weekly tasks that need to be completed. Advanced trouble-shooting and repair of vehicle fuel, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Advanced trouble-shooting and repair of building refrigeration systems, HVAC, and food service equipment. Certification in one or more of these disciplines is required.
Responsibilities of Sr Maintenance Technician

• Responsible for in-house maintenance of our building
• Duties include general building repairs, ordering parts, light carpentry and painting.
• Responsible for electrical, refrigeration and air conditioning work and repairs.
• Accountable for upkeep of the building maintenance log and other administrative paperwork related to the job.
• Support fleet maintenance or repair when necessary
• Responsible for other miscellaneous maintenance duties deemed necessary by management.

Required Skills of Sr Maintenance Technician

• 3-5 years experience in general building and/or automotive maintenance experience, Such as experience in any 3 of the following areas: Vehicle Maintenance (diesel), HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Welding, Boilers, Motors and Controls, Equipment Maintenance, Heating and Refrigeration
• Diesel mechanic experience a plus
• Validate work performed by lower level Maintenance staff.
• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Troubleshooting issues and making decisions as part of a team.
• Must be extremely reliable and maintain good attendance
• Highly organized with good record keeping skills.
• Good computer skills and email capabilities.
• Build a relationship with vendors and communicate to management.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Must be able to work quickly and keep up with fast paced environment.
• Demonstrate ability to interact well with all departments and management.

Our Employees Must Be Able to:

• Pass a 10 year criminal background /Airport TSA Check and drug test
• Work assigned schedule which may include nights, weekends or holidays
• Work overtime when required
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required

Environmental Requirements:

• Will be exposed to various temperature changes (hot and cold) and noise as required
• This position requires to be active, walking, heavy lifting and pushing 50+ lbs
• Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
• Ability to climb ladder and stairs
• Exposure to fall hazards
