Senior Human Resource Generalist
The role of this newly created sole contributor job as a Senior HR Generalist is an exciting opportunity to jointly serve Level Capital LLC, and Azure Northwest, LLC and contribute to their future success. We are looking for a driven and dynamic HR person to join us who is creative, likes to work independently, can collaborate across organizations and teams, and is able to handle multi-state responsibilities.
This Senior HR Generalist will be a true business partner that provides support for the implementation of overall HR Strategy and Operations including the areas of recruiting, onboarding, performance management, benefits administration, compensation and HR compliance.

You’ll have the opportunity to build the HR function from the ground up and establish yourself as a strategic advisor on employee engagement, organizational design, performance management, employee relations, and hiring/onboarding. You will propose practical, scalable solutions that fit and enhance Level Capital and Azure NW’s culture and working closely with leadership in both locations, you will help identify and map out HR programs, hiring needs, and team organization as we grow.
Specifically you will:
- Develop, design and implement effective onboarding programs, and coordinate all onboarding & offboarding processes
- Serves as the administrator and primary contact for employees, beneficiaries, vendors and third-party administrators, for all benefit programs and retirement plans.
- Leads HR policy and procedure development, maintenance and implementation through education, communication and guidance of employees and management.
- Develops and implements programs on employee relations, performance management and improvement, disciplinary processes and employee engagement.
- Counsels supervisors on employee performance and disciplinary matters and reviews and approves disciplinary actions.
- Works with hiring managers on full cycle recruitment process.
- Handles the FMLA leave and administration and other leave requests, which may include accommodation requests under the ADA.
- Manage the performance evaluation process and procedures
- Enters, maintains and/or processes information in payroll and HRIS system.
- Troubleshoot employees’ issues, concerns, and grievances, including comprehensive investigations as needed.
About You:
- Do you have 3+ years’ experience in multiple HR disciplines (e.g. recruiting, compensation & benefits, benefits administration, etc.)?
- How about a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field of study, or equivalent work experience?
- Do you have a PHR/SPHR/GPHR and/or SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP certification? This is strongly preferred. (Note: if not certified, the company will aid you in working towards completion within 1 year of hire!)
- Are you known for your HR experience in federal, state, and local employment laws and a familiarity with HRIS Systems? Do you have the following:
- A passion for building HR policies, processes and programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness
- Proven abilities to attract passive candidates and build a diverse pipeline

This position is responsible for the HR functions in two affiliated companies, Level Capital, LLC and Azure Northwest, LLC. The position may primarily reside in either location but will need to have a presence in both sites.
Level Capital, LLC is a private portfolio lender that provides financing to builders/investors. It is located in Kirkland, WA and was founded in 2011. Azure Northwest, LLC located in Federal Way, WA and was established in 2014. They are an award-winning regional Home Builder and Property Developer.
