We are hiring! We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated and detail-oriented self-starter to join our geospatial team as a Sr. GIS Analyst. Our ideal candidate will have education and experience with geospatial analysis, mapping processes, GIS software and technologies.
Under direction, you will apply full competency in GIS studies related to functional area of assignment. You will plan and conduct GIS work related to detailed phases of a major project

How will you contribute to the team?
- Mastery of specialized techniques, ingenuity, and ability to apply analytical approach to the solution of a wide variety of problems.
- Perform work which involves conventional practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials or procedures, or difficult coordination requirements.
- Inform the Project Manager of any issues with receiving required data such as incomplete data or time delays that can’t be rectified by dealing directly with the project team.
- Directly oversee the work of junior GIS staff assigned to the project, assign work as needed to junior GIS staff and ensure junior GIS staff completes work on time, within budget and with high quality.
- Help the Project Manager identify the GIS needs, time frames, and staff for the project.
- Be involved with all technical discussions and meetings between the Project Manager and client.
- Train junior GIS staff as needed for the project.
- Identify any GIS related issues that could put the project at risk.
What will you contribute?
- B.A. or B.S. or M.S. in Geography, computer science, or GIS-related environmental discipline.
- Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience required.
- Esri ArcGIS Desktop or Pro experience required.
- Use of at least one Esri ArcGIS field worker app:
- ArcGIS Collector
- ArcGIS Field Maps
- ArcGIS Survey123
- ArcGIS Workforce
- Esri ArcGIS Geodatabases and experience performing field data collection required.
- Linear referencing system, utility mapping and ArcGIS topology experience preferred.
- Use of link-node networks preferred.
