Senior Financial Analyst

Franciscan Ministries, located in Lemont, Illinois, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Home Office team. This position is responsible for the financial modeling and statistical analysis for internal and external projects. This is a fast-growing area within our ministry requiring an individual whose strengths include multi-tasking, working at a fast pace and advanced knowledge of financial theory, discounted cash flow analysis, MS Excel based modeling and developing presentations. Other responsibilities include assistance with insurance, capital budgeting and for the ministry and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all aspects of financial modeling pro forma development and forecasting for projects, including new developments, acquisitions, and expansions. Identify and document key assumptions for modeling. Compare financial results to internal and external benchmarks. Detailed sensitivities for projects to achieve acceptable metrics, including IRR and debt ratios. Prepare concise and clear financial dashboards and reports to summarize results. Participate in project team meetings as assigned.
• Assist with insurance-related tasks including applications, maintaining an insurance database and vehicle registration. Assist in the development of short and long-range budget projections.
• Assist with the capital approval process, reporting, budgeting and reconciliation to the general ledger.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned including cash management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
• 3-5 years related work experience
