The Work You'll Do
Our Financial Analysts play an integral role in Sovos’ forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning (LRP) processes. These team members are key figures in the overall success of not only the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, but Sovos as a whole. This is a unique opportunity to work for a growing Global organization in a very visible and change-effecting position.
More specifically, you will:
- Executing monthly financial forecasts, as well as annual budgets and long-range planning activities
- Design, implement, and enhance financial forecasting tools and processes
- Provide insightful reporting and data analyses to senior management
- Understand the drivers of financial results and clearly tell the "story" around those results.
- Partnering with other departments and key stakeholders to help achieve financial and business objectives
- Gain alignment with business partners to better inform financial forecasting
- Provide business review and insight with focus on performance indicators and key drivers
- Develop relationships with stakeholders to enable buy-in and ownership of Finance's goals
- Provide objective support to influence and reinforce business decisions
- Guiding all financial processes within the FP&A team and be seen as a performance driver
- Manage the monthly Board of Director's reporting process, ensuring that deadlines are being met
- Developing and supporting sound financial models and ensuring that the financial story is adequately represented
What We Need From You:
- At least four years previous work history in a finance based role - at least some of that in a software company
- Familiarity with US GAAP / accrual basis accounting
- Sound reasoning skills with the ability to successfully problem solve with both internal and remote users
- Ability to comprehend and simplify complex concepts to help influence decisions
- Due to federal contracts, successful candidates will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire
