This role is critical in helping Cloudflare achieve and exceed its growth and profitability goals. You will primarily focus on supporting our Go-to-Market efforts, providing visibility on all things financial to key stakeholders, surfacing new insights and improving processes. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, able to communicate financial insights and recommend appropriate actions. This role is based in our Austin, TX office.

• Support the annual budget, quarterly forecast and long-term strategic planning processes for our Sales & Marketing organizations
• Build and own detailed financial models that forecast and analyze expenses in order to understand variances and opportunities to improve forecast accuracy
• Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, establishing trust, and gaining a deep understanding of relevant business drivers
• Become a subject matter expert, and lead reporting on areas of key operational and financial importance to the Go-to-Market organization
• Support Go-to-Market analytical initiatives and projects in a data, modeling or analytical capacity
• Partner with the Controllership Organization to ensure a timely and accurate monthly close process
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology to solve business problems, partnering with internal technical teams

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

• 4+ years of progressive FP&A experience; experience in a subscription business is a plus
• Experience supporting sales or marketing functions; both is a plus
• Financial Modeling: High Proficiency with MS Excel or Google Sheets; ability to build thoughtful, complex and auditable financial models
• Communication: Clear, concise communicator; ability to synthesize complex data or business problems into actionable information to drive results
• Versatility: Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, zooming in with good attention to detail while still keeping the big picture in mind
• Project Management: Results-oriented, self-starter, organized, team-focused, and a strong work ethic, leveraging relationships to ensure deadlines are met
• Tools & Systems: Proficiency with Enterprise Financial Planning Tools & Systems; experience with Anaplan, BigQuery, Netsuite, Salesforce, Workday a plus
