What you’ll be doing:
- Own Search Analyst training and onboarding
- Act as first point of contact for Search Analysts, assisting with direction, questions, and concerns
- Continuously assess procedures and processes for improvement opportunities through meetings and regular communication with the team, and will be responsible for proposing ideas and being a project lead when applicable
- Partner with Merchandising to optimize communication, processes, and training between the two teams
- Improve the customer experience through eCommerce, UI/UX, SKU Page, and Monetization projects
- Lead Search Team’s category reviews and analysis
- Own monthly eCommerce reviews
- Use data and customer metrics to propose and/or optimize web functionality
- Monitor & optimize all Search requests ensuring a uniform customer experience
- Create and maintain SOPs for department initiatives
- Utilize data to provide recommendations on new opportunities or improvements
- Build & own eComm insights/KPIs and partner with Analytics to create automatic reporting
- Lead assigned projects or tasks assigned by management where Merch Ops analytics expertise is needed. Includes keeping the team updated on progress and sharing results when applicable, may include presenting results to leadership.
- Effectively, and independently, manage project/program workstreams, timeline, deliverables, and communications escalating when needed
Qualifications :
What you bring to the table:
- Analytical skills - ability to produce, interpret, and make business recommendations/decisions from eCommerce data
- Excellent written & verbal communication/interpersonal skills
- Project Management - Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks based on fluctuating deadlines while continually meeting due dates and maintaining a positive attitude
- Search Optimization experience preferred
- Ability to work in a team or independently
- Detail orientated with high degree of accuracy
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years’ experience in eCommerce/Product Management/Search/Operations
- Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Omniture and BI skills a plus
