We're looking for a Senior Director, Transformation Management Office to help lead our efforts, this position is responsible for supporting transformational change for prioritized functional areas with initial focus on Group functions (IT, HR, Supply Chain, Legal (including Risk Management), Retail, Finance etc). You’ll be responsible for partnering with the VP, TMO on identifying transformational opportunities through strategic planning and innovation, prioritizing initiatives and building roadmaps, ensuring proper multi-functional resourcing of the projects, co-leading the implementation of the initiatives through rigorous project management, and ensuring sustainable change through identifying and implementing industry best-in-class processes, systems and capabilities. This role will also be responsible for developing a clear streamlined strategic resource allocation and project management process and approach for HA Group.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Director, Transformation Management Office plays an integral strategic role within the COO organization through development and sustainable implementation of best-in-class processes, systems and capabilities, initially for Group Services functions – IT, HR, Supply Chain, Legal (including Risk Management) and Retail. The TMO may also take on the project leadership for Group-wide initiatives.

  • Co-leading the HA Group strategic plan definition, communication strategy, and reporting
  • Oversee the management of the strategic portfolio of programs and initiatives, including development of supporting processes and reporting.
  • Prioritize strategic initiatives based on business needs, impact to business, ease of implementation and resource availability. Work with HA Group Executive Functional Leaders to create 3-yr roadmaps
  • Provide oversight and support for the implementation of strategic initiatives through rigorous project management and reporting, as needed
  • Drive the design of clear and streamlined Strategic Resource Allocation and Project Management processes for HA Group
  • Build capacity and process maturity within the functional areas, and transition projects into sustainable practices with clear owners and standard operating procedures. Work with functional leaders to ensure proper multi-functional support and resourcing for project implementation.
  • Champion accountability by identifying, creating, maintaining and reporting on a set metrics to measure effectiveness of existing and newly implemented programs
  • Oversee the development and implementation of project management and change management training programs
  • Identify and implement enabling systems and capabilities required to improve efficiency and effectiveness across COO’s functions. Build systems roadmap
  • Monitor best-in-class functional practices, and benchmark against industry leaders and other Carnival OpCos

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Leadership and Engagement Skills, or Equivalent Experience
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience with clear illustration of progression and professional growth, with substantial (3 to 5 years’ experience) managing transformation programs in consulting or industry.
  • Develop, align, and execute a vision and strategy across multiple functions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the confidence to present to leadership teams
  • Strategic planning & project management experience
  • Continuous improvement (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) experience
  • Change management experience
  • Highly analytical, demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems methodically and analytically
  • Strong leadership- able to set a vision, engage up, down, and across functions, influence and drive alignment to actions
  • Demonstrated ability to drive value in highly complex and ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrated ability on our culture essentials of speak up, respect & protect, improve, communicate, listen & learn, and empower
  • Experience working with highly diverse teams, with diversity, equity and inclusion programs
  • Up to 15% travel
