Position Summary: The Senior Director, Fundraising Campaigns & Volunteer Engagement is responsible for furthering the Foundation’s mission and engaging the patient and corporate communities at the chapter level. The Senior Director is the lead staff person responsible for all fundraising activities and campaign management relating to the chapter’s large-scale special events. These events include the Spring Fling luncheon (will take place in December, 2021), Keymorada Invitational Fishing Tournament and an inaugural Golf Outing. The Senior Director, Fundraising Campaigns & Volunteer Engagement will also collaborate with chapter staff to drive corporate sponsorship revenue across campaigns. In partnership with the Executive Director, the Senior Director, Fundraising Campaigns & Volunteer Engagement plays a key role in professional leadership to the community’s high-impact volunteers. The Senior Director reports directly to the Executive Director and holds a visible leadership role within the chapter. Special Events/Fundraising
- Execute fundraising best practices to meet revenue targets exceeding $1,000,000 through three special events: Spring Fling Luncheon, Keymorada Invitational Fishing Tournament and inaugural Golf Outing.
- Recruit and retain three to five new volunteer leaders and committee members annually to assist in generating revenue for special events including high-impact committee members and honorees capable of growing fundraising revenues and event participation.
- Build meaningful volunteer relationships by utilizing relationship management skills and resources and recognizing volunteers for their time and efforts.
- Identify and cultivate revenue driving partners, including both corporate and individuals, who will influence and maximize impact on special events and for chapter-wide partnerships
- Prepare and manage budget (income and expenses) and work plan (with timeline and deliverables) for the successful completion of the chapter’s special events.
- Coordinate the production of all collateral materials, promotion and public relations related to special events.
Major Gifts

Qualifications:
- College degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Eight to ten years in not-for-profit fundraising, voluntary health organizations a plus.
- Demonstrated track record of successful fundraising experience that includes peer to peer campaigns and special events.
- Skilled in committee development and volunteer relationships.
- Aptitude for strategic planning, budgeting and time management.
- Experience in corporate giving, donor cultivation, donor records and acknowledgement.
- Self-motivated, results oriented leader with strong organizational skills.
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Strong attention to detail.
- An effective communicator, both written and oral.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and Convio a plus
