Job Description
- 6+ years experience as a producer/production manager or line producer
- 6+ years experience with budgeting, scheduling and cost reports
- A proven track record of producing digital content, either as an independent consultant or within a production company, TV network and/or film studio.
- 6+ years of experience in a creative role understanding consumer trends and creating content.
- Strong working relationships with the creative community - network of on air talent, producers, writers and creators.
- Live TV/Digital experience
- Strong capability to manage a production budget and schedule.
- Ability to adapt to a quickly changing, fast-paced environment.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, creative and analytical Sr. Digital Content Producer who is comfortable establishing shoppable content from conception through execution, and resolving technical issues. As a producer for our livestreams, you will deep dive performance, optimize content, action opportunities, and improve processes. In addition, you’ll collaborate with members of our agile team, including engineering, marketing, UX design, finance and advertising to grow the business.
The ideal candidate will have previous development and production experience in digital content, but will not be tied to traditional production methods and processes. In addition, this person should bring to the table a notable track record in creating content based on audience insights and data, ability to source talent, and a passion for innovation. He or she will have a high level of comfort with ambiguity, ability to juggle multiple priorities, a deeply analytical mindset with the ability to investigate complex challenges, and can effectively influence across organizations.
Responsibilities include:
- Understand the nuts and bolts of production. Participate in all aspects of pre, production, and post from budget and casting to production issues in the field from to final delivery on assigned shows and projects.
- Plan segments, line produce, book talent, and manage budget.
- Manage relationships with talent and key partners.
- Partner with Advertising and Marketing on brand integrations.
- Pay close attention to metrics for assigned shows and use data to drive content improvement.
- Write and pitch pilot proposals for new categories, formats, and concepts.
- Invent on and simplify our production processes and implement features.
- Livestream experience preferred
- Experience with data/analytics and using data to make deicisions
- Proven track record of communicating effectively with external partners and delivering results for advertisers
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally within an organization to unlock growth opportunities Strong capability to manage a production budget and schedule.
