Roles and Responsibilities
- Partner cross functionally to create and operationalize our commercial data framework
- Provide thought leadership on how to create and structure tools/data for scalable growth and ongoing real time insights
- Create actionable insights that enable cross-sell/upsell opportunities
- Use a variety of data sources to analyze and evaluate relevant business situations/ trends to develop initiatives to support opportunity qualification and increase pipeline.
- Promote and enforce best practices.
- Champion competitive learnings across the commercial organization.
- Work closely with sales leaders and marketing to identify priorities.
- Support Commercial Leadership to provide business/market insights and defined actions, based upon interactions with field and interpretation of data.
- Utilize reporting stack (Salesforce.com, Tableau) to design/utilize reports and dashboards to provide commercial intelligence and insight.
- In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Most decisions are within a defined framework, but some autonomy in the final decisions for a project, product line, market, sales process or customers. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of experience in commercial excellence.

- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software, Tableau and SQL
- Experience working with Salesforce.com.
- Experience with Business Intelligence or Data Visualization tools.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
