The Cloud Storage Operations Engineering (CSOE) is part of SAP Global Cloud Services which is core of SAP’s cloud success by providing cloud infrastructure and operations support for cloud storage systems which SAP is delivering on a global scale. To run these highly scalable and secure cloud infrastructures 7x24, we leverage technologies primarily from leading storage vendors to support various cloud environment. The Global Cloud Storage Operations Engineering works with all Cloud units, both internal and external by providing technical storage solutions and expertise. As part of CSOE team member, you will be responsible from operational engineering perspective to manage storage environment used for several external and internal cloud solutions and deliver as per the following expectations

How You Might Contribute

• Build a solid customer relationship and act as a trusted advisor
• Lead initiatives for improvement so to provide best services to customers.
• Support delivery teams to perform and drive root cause analysis to completion
• Drive continuous improvement of the Ops services in terms of process design, tool advancement, better operational efficiency, reduce TCO, support quality and enhance customer satisfaction
• Liaise with different SAP stakeholders involved in the accounts, to ensure success and integration with the neighbored teams
• Be a coach to other team members when needed

A Successful Candidate Should

• Highly skilled technical storage expertise with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Storage and IT customer facing role
• In-depth knowledge of the storage concepts and architectures, specifically with NetApp and Dell Storages
• Comprehensive understanding of the IT processes and best practices related to backup and recovery and NAS/SAN technology
• Willingness to work in a team environment supporting Enterprise SAN and NAS infrastructure performing design, tiering, installation, configuration and maintenance planning
• Fast and independent learning capabilities with good interpersonal skills who is well organized, self-motivated, and has strong customer service, project, and analytical skills
• Good understanding of DevOps framework, tools and Agile methodologies
• Good knowledge on automation technologies and tools (Ansible, Kubernetes, Python)
• Must be able to work onsite in Newtown Square, PA once the office opens back up, local candidates preferred
