Senior Civil Engineer / Office Manager

Meyer, Meyer, LaCroix & Hixson, Inc. is seeking an Office Manager/Senior Project Manager in our Ruston office. This position is targeted for an experienced Civil Engineer who is interested in public and private utility, transportation and development projects.

This full-time position will include supervising the daily operations of the MML&H Ruston office, business development, marketing of the firm, and client relations. Duties will also include planning, developing, coordinating and directing various civil engineering works with a focus on public infrastructure projects.

Engineering work at MML&H may include a wide range of interesting projects involving site selection, planning and design; stream pollution control, comprehensive development planning and environmental assessments; highway, parking lot and street design; drinking water supply, treatment and distribution; sanitary sewer collection, pumping and treatment; natural gas distribution systems; airport planning and design; utility relocations; drainage; subdivision development; industrial park planning and design; and recreational facilities planning and design.

The ideal candidates will be a licensed Louisiana Professional Engineer (P.E.) with a Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or a closely related field) and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, including project management experience and experience in personnel management. The successful candidate will also possess excellent written and oral communication skills; have strong leadership and problem-solving skills; have a superior work ethic and the desire to advance; and be a self-starter with the ability to work successfully independently or with team members. Familiarity with public infrastructure funding and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word and Excel is also preferred.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
