The Work You'll Do:

The Business Application Administrator is responsible for providing quality and professional system support to Sovos employees using internal tools and applications. The role will work as part of the Internal Applications team (within the ItOps organization). This individual will work closely with various departments including sales, customer support, and technology to implement new improvements, features, functionalities, and processes within the company. An ideal candidate would be comfortable translating business needs into solutions.


What are my responsibilities going to be, more specifically?

  • Support a global deployment of multiple internal applications with 800+ users spanning across multiple functional areas (sales, customer service, product development, etc.).
  • Work with business users and other team members to gather requirements for enhancements and translate the business needs into technical design.
  • Develop new and maintain existing functionality within internal applications including custom objects, custom fields, formulas, workflows, page layouts, validation rules, assignment rules, and analytics, roles, profiles, security.
  • Work within sandbox environments and follow a release schedule, to maintain system integrity.
  • Provide ongoing support and administration for internal applications users for basic user questions.
  • Utilizes ticket tracking system to document results of problem resolution sessions.
  • Acts with integrity and demonstrates ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders.
  • Takes full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates initiative, drive and determination to achieve results, success, and growth.
  • Maintains a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement, and commitment to action.

What We Need From You:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Some off-hour responsibilities
  • A strong desire to learn and work with Salesforce, prior experience preferred
  • Due to clients with federal contracts - one must have an ability to pass a background check and drug test
