JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director, Applications, the Business Analyst’s role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business, financial, and operational systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes for Dunn-Edwards and NPAA. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The Business Analyst is also responsible for operational support to research issues and determine probable causes and possible solutions. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
This position includes junior and senior positions.
This position is further specialized by functional area including: Business Intelligence, Customer Relationship Management, Financial Systems, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues
- Conduct research on hardware and software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts
- Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR CERTIFICATION
- College diploma or university degree in computer science, computer information systems, or management information systems, and/or 3-5 years equivalent work experience.
- Specific experience based on the functional area:
- Business Intelligence: 3-5 years’ experience with SAP Business Warehouse, Business Explorer and Business Objects Suite solutions required.
- Customer Relationship Management: 3-5 years’ experience with SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions required.
- Financial Systems: 3-5 years’ experience with SAP Financials (FICO and COPA) solutions required.
- Manufacturing: 3-5 years’ experience with SAP Manufacturing Management (MII, MM, MRP) solutions required.
- Supply Chain: 3-5 years’ experience with SAP Warehouse and Inventory Management (WM, IM) solutions required.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
