Work you'll do

This position is responsible for supporting Rewards, Recognition and Well-being (RRWB). Specifically, the role will assist with the administration of the Deloitte LP retirement benefits plans and programs. In this role, the Senior Benefits Specialist will be responsible for supporting the administration of the Deloitte benefit plans with a focus on day-to-day management and operational support. Specific responsibilities of this role include:
  • Perform timely and accurate processing related to benefits systems, interfaces, and benefit plan invoices. Perform reconciliations on financial interfaces. Resolve issues, as necessary.
  • Provide day-to-day operational and processing support for plans and programs. For Retirement, this includes items such as Pension case management tasks, Pension inquiry support, Pension Callback support, and Pension distribution support.
  • Interact with vendors and internal team providing program/plan guidance on ordinary and complex provisions, inquiries, and special projects (data, interfaces, changes, etc.) and assure appropriate levels of performance.
  • Perform data compilation activities involving multiple data sources. Perform advanced analysis.
  • Assist in the implementation of new plans, programs, and changes to plans and/or administrative procedures.
  • Assure compliance with provisions of Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and prepare or review reports and filings required by federal, state and other regulatory agencies.

The individual selected for this role must have a basic knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements both adopted and pending affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA. Individual must have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion, work in a virtual team environment with a client service focus.

The team
The benefits team is part of the Rewards, Recognition and Well-being team within the Talent organization. The team collaborates with the businesses/channels and various stakeholders to provide strategic insight into benefits. The team advises, implements, and executes the rewards strategy and benefits approach across all Deloitte businesses.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience
  • Strong proficiency in MS-Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems and data transmission
  • Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements both adopted and pending affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:
  • Experience working in a rapidly evolving, highly matrixed organization
  • Knowledge of Web Employee Self-Service applications
  • Analytical skills and ability to prioritize effectively and handle multiple deadlines

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado and Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $64,935-$119,580.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
