Position Overview
The Senior Associate, Postsecondary Success will be joining a growing team within the KIPP Through College unit, providing critical support across several innovative initiatives. The Senior Associate will support multiple communications channels and lead knowledge management for the Postsecondary Success team, developing and sharing resources and information with both internal and external stakeholders. The Senior Associate will also analyze and share alumni data to enable KIPP and its partners to monitor and track postsecondary applications, enrollment and persistence. In support of in-person and virtual events and training opportunities, the Senior Associate will provide logistical and scheduling assistance.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Support effective communications with KTC regional team members and KTC external partners: provide assistance writing and sending regular newsletter and email communications for KTC persistence and postsecondary success regional team members. Compose and send periodic updates to KTC external partners, including colleges, universities and gap year programs. During the college admissions cycle, send monthly application pipeline reports to college partners and schedule annual partnership review meetings.
Analyze and share critical KTC data with internal stakeholders and external audiences: run reports in Salesforce from our Alumni Database and analyze the data in Excel, using Pivot Tables and basic formulas. Generate application pipeline reports, enrollment and persistence reports and other reports in response to ad hoc requests from internal and external stakeholders. Follow up with KTC regions and college partners to address any data discrepancies or resolve student issues.
Help lead knowledge management and resource development: upload, organize and appropriately label and tag postsecondary success resources on the KIPP Foundation’s knowledge management system, Shelf. Provide support to team members in the development of new resources or revision of existing resources, getting input from community members, revising content and improving formatting.
Provide administrative and logistical support for virtual and in-person training events and meetings: provide logistical support for postsecondary success team meetings, pilot program workshops and other events that my run outside of larger KF or KTC events. This could include identifying workshop locations, arranging food and beverage services, planning for team building events, and coordinating travel. Provide technical support on virtual training events, such as setting up virtual breakout rooms and helping participants troubleshoot technical issues. Provide scheduling assistance for large meetings with multiple external stakeholders.
Contribute to special projects: support special projects across the KIPP Through College team and broader organization, as needed. Facilitate or provide operations support at convenings and events. Provide cross-team support with initiatives that combine relevant or similar workstreams. Examples could include but are not limited to the following: facilitating advisory groups, alumni database or product testing, and KTC retreat support.

Experience and Qualifications
Strong emphasis will be placed on this individual’s written communication, organization and analytic skills. The Foundation is seeking an individual with:
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and listening skills.
- An achievement orientation: self-directed and results-oriented, demonstrating initiative and follow-through and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to simultaneously support multiple projects at once.
- Proficiency in Excel required; experience using and running reports in Salesforce preferred.
- Experience using online newsletter or other communication platforms preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience, preferably in a position requiring strong written communication and/or analytic skills.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of time (note – KIPP staff members are not traveling for work during the COVID pandemic).

Preferred location of this role is in one of KF’s offices or remote. This is a full-time, exempt position.
