Job Description

Meaningful Work From Day One:

The scope of this position covers Finance business systems and process improvement as a senior analyst at Brown-Forman Corporation in the disciplines of Finance and Administration. This person will serve as a liaison between IT and the user community to provide support primarily for the SAP Finance and related sub-modules (e.g., Profitability Analysis, Treasury, Product Costing and Material Ledger) and functions, work closely with cross-functional team members to resolve business process issues, and manage and/or participate in multiple division level projects/assignments with typically high degree of complexity and change management components. Participate in virtual project teams consisting of various cross-functional roles and consultants. Provide excellent on-going system and client support.

What You Can Expect:

  • Research, analyze, design, identify and facilitate process improvements. Make solution recommendations to various business units.

  • Implement new functionality and improvements for business processes utilizing integrated system technologies (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Salesforce, OneSource, Concur) where appropriate.

  • Provide SAP Finance second level support for global operations to resolve reported incidents, advise users in the proper use of the system, and implement approved upgrades, enhancements, and project requests. Extremely flexible and open to collaboration and to adopting new ideas to resolve complex business problems.

  • Project management, process analysis, systems design, documentation, applications support, configuration, and training.

  • Manage and participate in enterprise-wide projects/assignments with some complexity and change management components.

  • Follow IT PMO project methodology, responsible for all aspects of project lifecycle management.

  • Act as a liaison to key business clients and technology resources, coordinating requirements definition for multiple strategic finance and related initiatives.

  • Directly interface/collaborate/partner with process owners and super users in the development of business requirements.

  • Expertise on enterprise-wide technologies (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Finance and integration with SAP and non-SAP cross-application modules, Salesforce, Coupa, OneSource, Concur), business processes and end-user information delivery tools.

  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of Business Scenarios, Business Process Swim Lanes & Procedures, Testing, and Quality Assurance documents related to production system changes.

  • Follow standardization of business processes and technologies within Information Technology and among operating unit super users.

  • Participate in identifying, training, and supporting a network of finance super users across the enterprise.

We Are Looking For People Who:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field.

  • 7 or more years of relevant work experience in IT applications.

  • At least 2 years’ experience configuring SAP ERP systems in the Accounting or Finance areas.

  • Proven ability to quickly learn existing Business Processes and combine knowledge from multiple disciplines (e.g., SAP capability, industry standard best practice) to produce an optimal business solution.

  • Demonstrated ability to implement multiple enterprise-wide level projects with some degree of complexity.

  • Experience with the core functions of SAP Finance and Sub-modules including Treasury, Profitability Analysis, Product costing and Material Ledger.

  • Participate in leading, managing, designing, and facilitating multiple concurrent workshops and presentations that are effective and valued by the Business Partners.

What Makes You Unique:

  • Master’s degree in business (MBA) or related field.

  • Certified project manager (PMP).

  • Experience leading change by implementing enterprise-wide business planning and processing applications, and knowledge of integration points with SAP application areas such as SD, MM, PP, FI/CO, BW, etc.

  • Experience working with consumer products, process manufacturing and/or the beverage industry.

  • Experience with international organizations with diverse business operations and needs.

  • Possess the skills to initiate, evaluate, develop, defend, and influence users on adoption of solid, actionable recommendations.

  • Ability to lead, manage and participate in multiple division level projects/assignments with some degree of complexity and change management components.

  • Be a participant on project teams consisting of various cross-functional roles and consultants.

  • Provide excellent on-going system and client support.

  • Ability to participate in multiple concurrent workshops and presentations that are effective and valued by the client.

  • Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.

  • Demonstrate success in the ability to lead technology initiatives by projecting a positive attitude. Exhibit a high degree of professionalism, customer service, and enthusiasm, combined with the ability to build relationships with business and technology stakeholders.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to utilize the appropriate techniques to plan, organize, control and coordinate activities.

  • Accountable for the timely resolution of specific issues and problems within a particular area, application, database, technology, or system.

  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing including the ability to inform, advise, instruct, and persuade.
