Hill+Knowlton Strategies is seeking a dynamic Senior Account Executive to join our US health team supporting a renowned University Health System in Southern California. In this role, you will be responsible for providing world-class client service, managing earned media strategy and execution and offering recommendations and client counsel based on a foundation of experience in the health sector.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Building strong relationships with key client contacts as a client-facing leader on a priority health account
- Aiding in the development and execution comprehensive strategic communications and stakeholder engagement activities that support our client’s business objectives – from thought leadership opportunities to executive positioning, expert source pitching and health awareness initiatives
- Crafting thoughtful points of view and recommendations based on a foundational understanding of the health, communications and client landscapes
- Managing earned media strategy and execution; building and maintaining effective relationships with key media contacts both national and local/regional
- Developing campaign strategy, digital content, media materials, client messaging, executive communications and thought leadership programs
- Collaborating with a diverse team of smart and enthusiastic PR professionals across the country within a globally influential agency

What you’ll need for consideration:
- Undergraduate degree
- 3-4 years’ public relations experience within an agency, in-house or healthcare entity; agency experience strongly preferred
- Experience within the healthcare sector across consumer health, health+wellness; hospital systems/provider experience within an academic health system strongly preferred
- Client service minded with the ability to establish, grow and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts; able to provide sound recommendations and insights
- Strong working knowledge of the healthcare industry, trends and relevant media contacts (national and local/regional)
- Superb writing ability with a keen eye for detail (proven ability to write content, communications plans, executive messaging, thought leadership pieces including op eds, etc.)
- Social and digital savvy
- Excellent earned media skills; track record of success developing media relations strategy, established media contacts and the ability to develop and nurture new ones
- Collaborative approach to working with a team across different geographies; positive influence capable of motivating other team members to produce excellence
- Superb communications and organizational skills
- Fluent in all tools of MSFT Office: Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel
- Passion, tenacity and enthusiasm for the H+K brand
