Job Description

Self Storage Advisors is looking for a professional, reliable, and outgoing leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of a brand new self-storage facility in Ridgefield, WA.

As the store manager, you are the most important part of customer interaction and facility operations. We are looking for team players who are driven and innovative, must possess strong problem-solving skills, and great customer relations.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading the day-to-day operations of a brand new storage facility in Ridgefield, WA.
  • Perform at a high level without constant supervision, but also thrives in a team environment. Be willing to take on new tasks with an upbeat attitude and professionalism.
  • Greet customers with enthusiasm and professionalism, Providing 5-star service every experience.
  • Assist customers in finding a storage space that will fit their needs.
  • Coordinate all transactions with customers via phone, in person, and email.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems, and yearly inspections.
  • Maintain appropriate and professional phone etiquette with customers. Answering phone calls while multi-tasking with computers or other duties.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly reports using Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows programs, and email.
  • Maintain property appearance by completing maintenance checklists: cleaning and sweeping units, picking up trash, and performing light maintenance and repairs as needed. Overseeing a small team.
  • Handle customer inquiries or problems in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
  • Meet sales goals for rentals, insurance, and maximize sales objectives.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

Skills required: computer knowledge, ability to learn software quickly, some bookkeeping and administrative skills, property management experience, willingness to work some weekends or some holidays, ability to handle all-weather, clean driving, and criminal record. Available to cover other locations in the area if needed.

The storage facility will be closed all major holidays.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE
