Security Test and Turn Up Manager Role
Assure security installations are installed, tested and onboarded into our monitoring centers per Interface defined specifications.
Reports to: Director of Deployment
PERIPHERAL DUTIES:
- Manage and support a team of SecurityTest and Turn up agents
- Train TTU agents on necessary skills required to successfully perform their job duties
- Provide feedback to Sales Engineering, Product and PMO teams so they can resolve issues through design modifications, manufacturer support, or other necessary means
- Anticipate future needs of team due to new products or services being implemented
- Document processes and knowledge base so readily available for new and existing agents
Job Requirements
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years supporting Intrusion, CCTV, and Audio systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially with Technical personnel
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation
- Ability to quickly learn new software applications required to support Interface installed systems
- Strong ability to analyze and drive problems to resolution
- Strong sense of urgency
- Proficient with MS Office products and Smartsheet
- Previous experience in field supporting security systems a plus
NECESSARY SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly communicate with Field Engineers, Internal and External support teams, and broadband carriers.
- Ability to be patient while assisting and educating Field Engineers in live troubleshooting situations.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:
- Company provided computer, including Microsoft Office products, database and spreadsheet programs; calculator, telephone, copy and fax machine.
Working Conditions
Office setting or work from home. Sitting or standing with computer keyboard, multiple monitors, and desk phone. Company dress case is business casual.
Travel as required <5%
Position type and expected hours of work
This position is manager level and it is expected that work is performed during normal business hours 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday. This position does require individual be available after hours and on weekends as needed. Break periods and lunch period are provided. This position may be required to perform work duties in addition to the above work hours, depending on workload and deadlines.
