Security Supervisor

We are looking for a competent Security Supervisor to lead and monitor our employees day to day activities. The ideal candidate would be someone confident in their skills in security and able to provide both training and leadership to all their subordinates. Supervisors should be competent in report writing and decision making even during stressful situations. A good supervisor should be able to set an example for our employees.

License Requirements: PILB Guard Card

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to all your subordinates especially in emergency situations
• Ensure that all company policies and procedures are being monitored and enforced on every property
• To provide training and discipline for all subordinates
• To review all reporting done during their shift
• To maintain security coverage on all sites
• To dispatch guards to sites and situations requiring extra security
• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from sites
• Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
• Check surveillance cameras to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Provide assistance to people in need
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
• Utilize Archer West Software for reporting.

Skills

• Proven experience as a security officer or guard
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems/reporting
• Registered as a security officer
• High School diploma is required
