SECURITY SOLUTION ARCHITECT

TIG is searching for a SECURITY SOLUTION ARCHITECT for our Technology Solutions Team. This is a Leadership role within TIG. We have had triple digit growth in Security offerings and would like to continue expanding our practice. This would be an opportunity for the incoming SECURITY SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT to impact our future technical direction and technical partners for our practice. Our team works very well together and is very autonomous, but we need a SECURITY SOLUTION ARCHITECT who is passionate about helping customers and who can interact with our customers in an approachable way.
***Because this role has a major impact on sales revenue, and follows the full life cycle of project (presales through delivery), in addition to a salary, there is an uncapped commission plan.

OVERVIEW- SECURITY SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT
At TIG, the Security Solutions Architect is part of our Technology Solutions team. As a part of this team you will work directly with practice leadership and will be engaged in all aspects of our pre-sales/delivery business cycles.
The primary role of a Security Solutions Architect is to work alongside our Account Executives (AEs) through formal technical presentations and technical design of TIG’s service offerings.
The Security Solutions Architect has strong interpersonal, business and technology skills that enable them to engage at all levels of an organization from help desk to the CIO. An Architect is also an experienced IT consult with a holistic understanding of IT operations within a business organization.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES- SECURITY SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT
The SECURITY SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT will be directly communicating with customers and recommending/presenting security solutions. The SECURITY SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT will follow security projects from pre-sales through to the delivery of products and services.
The SECURITY SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT may be responsible for hands-on work or may be responsible for working with other TIG Engineers or working with outsourced vendors to deliver a solution to a client.
Critical areas of responsibility include security assessments, firewall components, systems security, and application security.
- Working at the direction of the VP of Technology Solutions and Practice Director Leadership
- Working alongside our Account Executive team to provide top notch solutions for our customers biggest security challenges
- Contributing your breadth of technology and business knowledge to help the client understand the true risks and rewards
- Being and integral and indispensable part of the design and architecture process
- Connecting the sales and service delivery teams to make sure projects are delivered seamlessly
- Recognizing other opportunities to contribute to client success and development
- Delivering engaging and informative presentations and content to the customer
- Building strong and continuous relationship with our clients, becoming their go-to advisor
- Collaborate with all our teams from marketing to operations
WHO YOU ARE
- You have a strong Security Solutions technology background that includes consulting and pre-sales experience
- You have a strong consulting background
- You have the expertise and professionalism to interact with any level of an organization
- You’re able to take the lead and make big decisions
- You’re a self-starter, you take initiative and have the ability to multi-task
TECHNICAL
- Strong Understanding with compliance & security standards across the enterprise IT landscape Deep understanding of enterprise risk management methods and techniques to drive successful outcomes
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN/security architectures, solutions, frameworks, and components
- Network protection including firewalls, Anti-DDOS, IPS, SSL, VPN, DLP, NAC, WAF, SIEM
- Endpoint/server/data protection including antivirus, malware protection, web/URL filtering, and MDM
- Security operations including security monitoring, network and endpoint visibility, incident response, threat management, and forensics
- Strong Understanding of cloud computing technologies and workload transition challenges
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
- Experience leading multiple HIPAA and/or PCI assessments
- Experience performing penetration tests with tools such as Backtrack/Kali and Metasploit
- Experience with firewall deployment and configuration a plus, particularly Cisco FirePower & Palo Alto Networks

COMPENSATION
Salary Range is Negotiable and based off of experience
$150,000-175K + uncapped commission based off of product and service sales
