Jamestown Healing Clinic (JHC) is accepting applications for a full-time Security Manager to join our growing team!
The JHC Security Manager is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients and employees in an integrated care clinic that provides primary care, dental, behavioral health, and opiate use disorder treatment. This position will establish sound and effective security measures, clear and concise policies and procedures and provide supervision for the security guards.
Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe has implemented COVID-19 safety measures to ensure the health and well-being of our employees, patients, Tribe, and vulnerable citizens of our community, which includes required masking regardless of vaccination status. About Jamestown Healing Clinic*
The Jamestown Healing Clinic (JHC) is a new integrated care clinic that will be opening Spring 2022. JHC will provide comprehensive patient care including an opioid treatment program, primary care, dental, substance abuse disorder counseling, and behavioral health. We believe a holistic service delivery approach is most effective at providing sustained recovery for those struggling with addiction. That's why in addition to offering substance abuse disorder treatment, we will also be offering a robust group of wrap-around services to best address the total needs of our patient population, such as child-watch, transportation and individualized care coordination. Medication-Assisted Treatment*
Most clinic patients will receive a daily dose of medication for their Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) that will consist of either Methadone, Buprenorphine (Suboxone), or monthly Vivitrol.

Primary Care*
All JHC patients will have access to comprehensive primary care services that may include episodic/acute visits, chronic disease management, and preventative care services.

Dental Care*
Patients will also be able to utilize a variety of on-site evidence-based dental services to address acute dental concerns as well as preventative dental care.

Individual & Group Mental/Behavioral Health & Substance Abuse Disorder Counseling*
Each patient will receive an individualized behavioral health and substance use disorder counseling care plan to help best support their unique recover needs. This may include 1:1 or group behavioral health counseling, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, as well as a wide variety of 1:1 or group SUD counseling offerings.

On-Site Child Watch Services*
Our patients will be provided free childcare services for up to two (2) hours per day while the patient is receiving treatment on-site.

Shuttle Transportation Services*
JHC will provide shuttle service transportation to patients residing in Jefferson or Clallam Counties who have no other transportation options.

As a Security Manager, you will: *
- Plan, direct, and coordinate security initiatives to safeguard patients, employees and the JHC property; ensure programs are in place to protect against harassment, threats, or violence to patients and employees
- Implement and manage all security policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with licensing requirements, and applicable State and Federal security requirements
- Supervise all security personnel; oversee all safety training requirements, coach, mentor, and conduct performance reviews
- Responsible for ensuring physical examinations of property to ensure compliance with safety and security policies and regulations
- Collect and analyze security data to determine security needs, security program goals, or program accomplishments; communicate with the JHC Leadership Team on internal investigations, losses, or violations of safety and security regulations, policies, and procedures
- Develop and maintain controls for an integrated security system to ensure confidentiality, accountability, recoverability, and audit ability of sensitive, proprietary information
- Perform routine analysis and evaluate security operations to identify risks and opportunities for improvement
- Design schedule for Security Guards. Ensure that all security posts are properly staffed, and that relief is provided when necessary
- Maintain good rapport with JHC patients, staff, and leadership to create a safe, therapeutic environment and culture of healing
What are the Required Qualifications for this position?
- Associates Degree in a relevant field of study
- Five (5) years of managerial experience within a comparable professional setting
- Two (2) years of direct experience working as a Security Guard or comparable position
- Knowledge of current State and Federal requirements for safety and security measures
- Experience using security software and applicable safety and security equipment
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Effective time management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional personal and ethical boundaries, empathy, and effective communications skills
- Ability to work in a cross-culture environment, understands the social and cultural context of the patients utilizing the JHC
- Demonstrate initiative, work independently with little supervision
- Understands and adheres to state (RCW, WAC) and federal confidentiality regulations (42 CFR part 2) and conduct self ethically and professionally.
- Knowledge of, and culturally sensitive to, the challenges of the patients being served at the JHC
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Uphold all current vaccine requirements for employment
- Must be able to successfully pass criminal background check investigation
- Valid Washington State Drivers License: ability to travel locally and regionally as assigned
What are the Preferred Qualifications for this position?
- A Bachelors degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited college
- CPR/First Aide Certification (otherwise complete employer provided training upon hire)
- Knowledge of Local, State, and Federal Laws and Regulations
- Knowledge of medications and therapies used to treat substance use disorders
- American Indian/Alaska Native preferences apply
