Job Summary: Schedule and check patients in and out, answer incoming calls, make outgoing calls, Collect co-pays and initiate insurance carrier regulatory requirements. Obtain patient records/reports. Process billing work queues, monitor reports and trace missing diagnoses and charges. Answer multi-line incoming calls. Schedules and Reschedules patients over the phone, for continuity of care. Use of computers and all pertinent office equipment such as computers, copier, fax, scanner, and shredder. EPIC software preferred. Assist with mail distribution. will assist with other tasks assigned by leadership. Excellent phone etiquette. Experience with multi-provider scheduling.

Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of secretarial/clerical experience required, preferably in an ambulatory patient care setting. Experience obtaining medical service authorizations, communicating with insurance carriers, or other support agencies preferred. Working knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing, experience with Medical Data Base systems (Epic software preferred) for patient registration and scheduling, excellent phone etiquette, familiar with multi phone system, experience with multiple provider scheduling and medical record management preferred. Ability to multi-task. Strong customer service skills necessary.
