As the Company evolves to meet the competitive demands of today’s marketplace, we’re looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager - eCommerce to join our team. The Assistant Warehouse Manager- eCommerce will be responsible for:

Role Overview
MacPherson’s Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in the success of MacPherson’s as front-line leaders by providing hands-on leadership, training, monitoring their teams. Our Supervisors actively participate in the handling of all customer products in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. You'll work closely with your team to ensure all the work behind the scenes is done safely, successfully, and efficiently therefore directly impacting the company as an employee-owner.
This is a full-time position working on Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. (with frequent overtime). Includes some MANDATORY Saturdays.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment
- 3+ years of experience in a Distribution/Warehouse environment desired
- Must be able to walk, stand, lift, bend, push, pull for long periods of time
Job Description:
- Experience with supervising approximately 20+ employees
- Manage the picking and shipping departments on second shift
- Track and submit weekly productivity reports to process Productivity Incentives
- Follow-up and coach employees directly on any errors identified before sending to the Packing Stations
- In Slow seasons, cross-train and gain certifications in all other Outbound Departments, such as Pallet Picking and Shipping
- Communicate/partner with other departments to ensure a smooth workflow
- Ensure all orders are complete and quality controlled before being sent to the Packing Stations
- Ensure all boxes/cartons are packed to minimize and reduce damage during transportation from the Distribution Center to the customer
- Manage the other Outbound teams (Pallet Picking and Shipping) to clear up missed picks
- Monitor each zone and allocate employees to them based on the order flows
- Monitor the Pick Pass Reports frequently to ensure all Priority Orders are completed before the End of the Shift
- Update the Productivity for the Picking Team on a daily basis. Complete quality checks to ensure all items are available and present in each order as specified
- Train new hires and/or temporary employees
- Pick items by voice picking or RF scanning bin locations in order to assemble customer orders
- Be flexible and adaptable to float in other areas of the distribution center, and instruct the Picking team of the same to meet demands
- Responsible for overseeing the daily tasks
- Review and respond to all emails in a timely manner (check at least every 2 hours)
- Manage the picking team to ensure all orders are executed with high level quality and within service times
- Adhere to and enforce all policies and safety procedures
- Communicate, motivate and coach direct reports
- Monitor the accuracy with daily audits
- Conduct weekly department meetings to foster communication and discuss areas of opportunities
- Track and submit weekly reports for all operations
- Monitor individual and team productivity
- Be flexible and adaptable to float in other areas of the distribution center, and instruct all teams of the same goals to meet demands
Requirements:
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment
- 3+ years of experience in a Distribution/Warehouse environment desired.
- Strong excel, and powerpoint experience
- Strong ability to translate business metrics
- Strong computer/applications knowledge and experience, such as WMS, RF scanning and Voice over IP.
- Able to operate basic and advanced warehouse vehicles (i.e. electric pallet jack, forklift, turret truck and/or order picker).
- Ability to effectively communicate with all members of the team as well as senior members of management.
- Ability to lead and motivate others.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
