You have a deep understanding of both organic and paid methods for driving awareness, acquisition, adoption, and purchase of promoted products and services. You have strong, hand-on experience with advertising and search platform (e.g. Google Ads, Google Search Console, SEM Rush, Trade Desk, Media Math, DV 360, or similar tools). And you’re looking for an opportunity to do this work in an environment where your efforts matter and will get noticed.
You thrive in an environment that asks you to roll up your sleeves. You are also highly analytical and have advanced Excel skills. You use the information you obtained from rolling up your sleeves and combine that with some great problem-solving skills to draw conclusions and devise recommendations based on your findings.

In short, you will be accountable for successfully overseeing paid and organic search to support the ecommerce goals of GS1 US. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the ongoing performance of search to deliver against company objectives.
A few other responsibilities of the role include:
- Drive SEO programs, including technical, content, and SEO in partnership with internal teams.
- Partner with the media agency to support ecommerce campaign activities for Paid Search (PPC) campaigns, including bid management, budget allocation, forecasting, performance monitoring, strategic testing, campaign expansion, plan management etc.
- Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies for natural and paid search campaigns, including developing roadmaps, test plans, and risk/benefit analysis; as well as analyzing results and developing actionable insights.
- Identify and communicate SEM and SEO findings to the broader team, regardless of the medium (in person, PowerPoint, email, etc.)
- Work closely with internal teams to identify and fully understand needs, campaign performance objectives, and opportunities to grow.
- Collaborate with the media agency and internal partners to successfully deliver tasks and meet timeline requirements.
- Actively monitoring on-line marketing trends, industry tools, and internal cross-team key learnings.
