Job Description
Our Sea Logistics Sales Executives are the conduit for developing new customer relationships for our Sea Logistics organization.Your RoleThese highly motivated and engaging individuals act as a bridge between our customers and Customer Care Locations and are responsible for developing new business as well as growing existing business that is in line with the Sea Logistics sales strategies. He/she is an integral part of the success of the organization and this role requires a willingness to close Blue Anchor Line America business, a high level of autonomy, an ability to develop win themes/solutions, and the use of compliant selling methods. A positive, inclusive attitude and high level of professionalism are essential for this position.Your Responsibilities
  • Hunt and develop new sea logistics opportunities with a focus on small and medium size customers. The opportunities should be focused on business that is paid in the USA
  • Perform all aspects of the sales process and input & update all relevant activities utilizing CRM tool
  • Conduct mutually agreed Quarterly Business Reviews with the customer and maintain close/ongoing communication with customer and Customer Care Location to ensure both external & internal customer expectations are met
  • Engage cross-functionally within Sea Logistics organization to build relationships and knowledge especially as it pertains to the Transpacific Eastbound market
  • Adhere to all policies listed in the KN Guidelines
  • Additional duties as assigned
Your Skills and Experiences
  • BS or Certificate in Logistics / Supply Chain / International business / Project Management preferred
  • Requires a minimum of 2 years field sales in freight forwarding or two years of operational experience
  • Experience with logistics processes, systems and solutions
  • Solid PC operational knowledge along with Microsoft Office applications experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Effective presentation and customer relations skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Goal oriented, self-disciplined, and self-motivated to produce results
  • Good problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Travel as required
  • A valid US Driver’s License is mandatory
