SDET

Overview:

PK, the Experience Engineering Firm is seeking an SDET to join PK, full-time.

Responsibilities:

Work with Automation Architect to create and update test frameworks and scripts for automated testing of web and mobile applications, as well as enterprise applications bymeans of UI testing, API testing, Data validation, etc.

• Build, execute and maintain automation scripts within an Agile delivery environment.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and execute as part of the build process.
• Create and distribute test reports and dashboards.
• Develop, execute and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts
  within a Test Management or Application Lifecycle Management platform.
• Identify, document, track and manage defects, and work with development teams to
  replicate, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Track and report on established QA metrics and KPIs for assigned projects.

Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in automation testing in an Agile software development
environment developing UI, API and Data validation tests.

• Ability to install, configure, maintain various test automation frameworks and tools.
• At least 2 yrs. experience with database testing and complex SQL query experience. Big
  data testing is a plus!
• Working knowledge & experience using CI/CD tools like Git, Maven, SonarQube &
  Jenkins.
• Preferred knowledge on working with cloud solutions like Sauce Labs.
• Hands-on Java/C#/Javascript experience in writing and debugging automated test
  scripts to include, knowledge of best practices required for automation.
• Experience with python is a plus.
• Ability to create and execute automated mobile testing suites for iOS, Android.
• Understanding of agile methodologies, unit testing and continuous integration.
• Comfortable with leading & working in collaboration with the developers to include,
  working with internal & external teams.
• Excellent verbal, written and listening skills.
• Hands on experience generating test reports, dashboards and other results
  notifications, such as Slack, Teams, etc.
• Strong experience with SQL/ NoSQL operations (ex. viewing and joining data), data
  validation testing.
• Self-Starter and proactive with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Significant experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Kaizen).
• Execute in a CI/CD and DevOps environment.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and satisfaction.
