About Us:

This is currently a position within a fast growing after-school program called iCodeschool.com. We teach computer science and robotics, we equip young minds with the skills to think critically, solve problems logically and imagine endless possibilities. We are moving past old school teaching methods and are committed to offering the best learning experience for kids, teenagers and even adults. Serving as an educational incubator, we allow students the opportunity to design and develop their best ideas into viable solutions; mentoring and providing funding to bring ideas to the market.

The desired candidate is a great leader with backgrounds in technology, education, sales and business operations. They enjoy building the business and providing five star customer service while providing individual support to families and students throughout the entire experience.

The Director is ultimately responsible for increasing center profits by ensuring product sales and managing the overall operations of the campus as well as ensuring the computer science courses/classrooms and labs provide the necessary education to ensure students have the best possible experience.

Students in K-12th grades work in small classes and labs to learn computer science, programming, applications development, robotics, drones, gaming, creative arts education during after-school, weekends and camps.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's or higher degree balanced against business acumen preferred.
  • Five years of work experience preferred
  • Team management and leadership experience preferred

Requirements:

  • Drive revenue growth with existing channels and creating new ones
  • Be data-driven and insightful.
  • Must have good computer skills
  • Apple knowledge (macOS Sierra, Apple iMac & MacBook Pro),
  • Understanding of computer networks and networking (technical skills helpful, but not required)
  • Familiarity with Google for Business a plus
  • Have an entrepreneurial drive and self-discipline.
  • Microsoft Office
  • Apple Keynote (graphic program knowledge a plus)
  • Previous teaching experience is a plus
  • Technical knowledge of computer science is a plus
  • Network IT infrastructure knowledge is a plus
  • Should have good organizational and process oriented skills

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Participate in developing a vision and strategic plan that drives operational initiatives.
  • Responsible for financial management of customers, billing, tracking, and projections, while setting and achieving financial goals.
  • Provide updated reports of converted leads, monthly income, accounts and opportunities.
  • Manage student recruitment, partnerships, customer service and tours.
  • Onboard new students.
  • Hire and train new staff.
  • Foster effective teamwork between staff, instructors and mentors.
  • Maintain and update information on Social Media, calendar, events, and on the website.
  • Update and create records, schedules, and classes of new customers in CRM.
  • Lead partnerships within the community.
  • Leverage the CRM as a customer service platform, keeping track of student performance as well as any incidents that need to be addressed with students or parents.

Operational Management

  • Evaluate instructors and mentors on a regular basis.
  • Ensure instructors are prepared with all learning material for the current courses.
  • Monitor classes and lab activities.
  • Manage the program’s Profit & Loss.
  • Provide timely reports and weekly status.
  • Flexibility to work during early evenings and weekend hours.
  • Keeping periodic account of all equipment in classrooms, labs, marketing and office materials.
  • Scheduling is one of the most important parts of the Director. This requires to meet the minimum number of students for a class to be viable, while providing a day/time for all interested in enrolling in courses.
  • Ensure attrition is low, avoiding cancelling of a class because there are not enough students.
  • Maintain open communication channels and foster a culture where problems and opportunities are discussed openly.
  • Ensure that employees have access to the internal Google and Social Media platforms.
  • Maintain an accurate record of academic information for all students.
  • Keep an eye on the facilities to ensure the space looks clean and organized.

Salary: $35,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
