SUMMARY Transports students to and from school.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Transports students to and from school safely and on schedule.
Monitors behavior and safety of students at all times.
Obeys all traffic laws.
Keeps bus clean and in operating condition.
Reports any operating problems to supervisor.
Reports all accidents and completes required reports.
Exercises responsible leadership when on out-of-district school trips.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
10-month position
EVALUATIONS
Performance will be evaluated annually.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or General Education degree.
SPECIAL EMPLOYMENT CONSIDERATIONS
Must have a valid drivers license and a Commercial Driver’s License with P & S endorsements, which must be recertified every 4 years.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
