School Bus Driver- Immediate Opening

IMMEDIATE OPENING

Working under the direct supervision of the Childcare Director, this part-time position offers a great schedule! School year hours from 3:00pm until 5:00pm each weekday with occasional hours beginning at 1:00 for early dismissals. Opportunities are available for additional hours during the summer.

The candidate must posses a high school diploma, and a Class A or B CDL, in addition to being over the age of 18 at the start of their employment. Previous childcare or school bus driver experience is preferred! Duties of the bus driver include:

• Drive safely along the designated route.
• Arrive promptly at designated schools for afternoon pickup to transport students to the After School program location.
• Obey traffic laws, safety procedures, and transit regulations.
• Ensure all passengers are safely buckled during transport.
• Check the vehicle daily prior to beginning the bus route.
• Ability to handle sudden changes such as scheduling adjustments, group changes.
• Operate a standard of excellence that is inline with the goals of The Campus-CC.
• Being a team player and working cohesively with others in an appropriate manner.
• Great communication skills.
