Position Description Summary
To assist the Theatre Department in constructing and deconstructing sets, as well as maintaining the scene shop between productions.

  • Construct sets using various building materials
  • Using a variety of power and art tools and applying many techniques to build set details
  • Maintain and organize the scene shop between productions
  • Assist in the tear down of the set after a production
  • Abide by all University policies

STUDENT POSITIONS ARE OPEN TO INDIVIDUALS ENROLLED IN A MINIMUM OF 1 ON-CAMPUS TRAD COURSE (INCLUDING PSOC) AT UNW.

Required Qualifications

  • Able to follow direction and ask for help when unclear on responsibilities
  • Able to work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment with specific deadlines
  • Able to work individually or as a member of a team
  • Understanding of and agreement with University of Northwestern’s Declaration of Christian Community and Doctrinal Statement is essential
