SAS Data Analyst

About the Role

As the Business Analyst in Sales Analytics, you will provide analytical support, identify trends, and key metrics. You will work and assist with process improvement initiatives, including incentives. The responsibilities will consist of reporting, ensuring data integrity, the creation, maintenance and streamlining of sales and marketing analytics dashboards.

You will report to the Director of Sales Analytics and Incentives.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated solutions in SAS that allows the Sales and Product team to better understand product/program performance, financial impact of proposed changes.
• Build and maintain ETL processes in SAS to manage data from multiple sources
• Collaborate with the Sales & Motivation teams to build business requirements and custom SAS applications and ensure system tools are implemented following our needs.
• Assist the System Admin with platform administration and maintenance whenever needed.
• Research key business data using statistical analysis and data mining to understand historical patterns that can be used to improve business performance.
• Recognize potential system opportunities or issues during data analysis and collaborate with Business Technology partners.
• Work on complex problems/projects where analysis of code or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
• Work with team members to research, conduct high-quality analyses, report, and communicate important product performance metrics.
• Inclination to take ownership of assigned projects and independently drive for results.
• Document programs, queries, and dashboards for reliable future use; automate useful reports and solutions.
• Serve as an expert for SAS Systems and Business processes

Qualifications

• 3-5 progressive years of experience in SAS: Base SAS, Macro Language and ODS graphics are key desired competencies and experience in SQ
• Experience using SAS, SAS/Graph, SAS/Marco, SAS/Connect, Tableau, ODS Excel and PDF
• Expertise in programming abilities for translating and staging data for analysis; Presentation of results through visual graphics
• An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline with expertise in marketing and sales effectiveness.
• Experience in, and knowledge of CPG and Direct Selling Models are a definite plus
