Job Description
As SAP Revenue Recognition Senior Analyst, this individual will need to be able to collaborate with individuals across the Sales Ops, Order Management, Logistics, Manufacturing and Finance organizations to address business needs and reporting requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities Would Include:
- Guide the company in utilizing SAP Revenue Recognition functionality to the best extent possible, and review business processes and system challenges.
- Ability to perform fit gap analysis, design within standard SAP framework, configuration, testing, go-live and support activities
- Ability to architect, develop and deploy new processes and configurations to meet business needs in the area of Revenue Recognition
- Ability to create test cases and generate documentation for each phase of the project
- Support Revenue team in monthly, quarterly close in SAP
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Ability to read ABAP code, design user-exits, workflow, BADIs and enhancements where necessary
- Ability to handle multiple issues/tasks simultaneously
- Ability to handle and manage helpdesk tickets in a timely manner
- Ability to work and deliver to timelines based on Infinera’s project methodology
- Ability to work with Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, and Jira
Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- 7+ Years of Hands-On Functional SAP SD with FI/CS/MM experience
- 3+ Years of Hands-On SAP RAR revenue recognition experience working with Hi-tech companies
- Experience in Quote to Order and Order to Cash cycles
- Experience with month end GL reconciliation activities
- Strong knowledge of FASB 52 Revenue Recognition rules.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Pricing and Complex pricing procedures
- Knowledge of Billings and Revenue Recognition in SAP
- Experience with intercompany processes and its impact to revenue recognition
- Strong knowledge of integration of SD and RAR modules with MM, SM, FICO and PP
Education Required:
- BS/MS
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Experience with RAR 1.3 module or later
- Service Management (SM) for Service Entitlements, Service Order and IBase, Reverse Logistics and Materials Management (MM) experience desired
- Experience in interfacing with SFDC and other satellite systems
- Semiconductor industry experience
- Project Systems (PS) experience would be beneficial
