Job Description

Provide daily and monthly SAP FICO support to Accounting and Finance personnel while maintaining technical and functional integrity of the SAP ledger system. This job requires on-going end user support and completing tasks to ensure the optimal performance of SAP. This position will focus on supporting daily, month-end, and year-end duties.

Job Requirements

?Monitor all daily interface IDOC, GL, AP errors and GL warnings and communicate with responsible business areas and appropriate TS groups for resolution.
?Complete MS SharePoint SSAP and AP database requests such as performing maintenance for the following: AP and purchasing vendors, GL accounts, PEG lines, Asset Master Records and JVID tables.
?Provide end user support and training, maintain the SSAP mailbox for SAP issues, questions and password reset requests.
?Provide end user support and maintain configuration of the SAP FI and CO modules in IMG based on business requirements.
?Monitor SAP System to ensure appropriate access is granted. Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly and bi-annual control reviews.
?Provide departmental assistance with internal and external audits in order to provide evidence for audit.
?Complete month-end and year-end closing activities.
?Support and maintain master records in SAP FICO, such as general ledger accounts, fixed assets, profit centers, cost centers, internal order numbers, reports, employee security access and internal order business assignments.
?Provide departmental assistance where applicable for special projects such as report development, fiscal year change, fixed asset module, and process improvements. Perform testing in order to discover errors and issues in business processes or SAP configuration.
?Provide departmental assistance with the Vendor management system (SRM) to create new users, requisitioners and approvers, maintain SRM address book and verification of shopping cart workflows
?Provide primary and secondary support for Business Systems responsibilities, which predominately covers, daily and monthly Dealer EFT and Auction Cash system duties.
**Ability to work extended hours at month-end or weekends as needed for special projects and system testing

Qualifications

?Bachelors degree preferred in Accounting or Finance and/or 3+ Years of related experience
?Competency in Financial and Controlling SAP background (programming/configuration) preferred
?Preferred knowledge of SAP FICO modules and sub-modules GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling?
Excellent technical skills a plus (Microsoft applications, Access, SharePoint, InfoPath, Teradata)
?Investigates to understand details of assigned business lines/accounts
?Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with database experience
?Proactive, with ability to obtain necessary information and influence others in a tactful way without direct authority
?Communication skills, with ability to clearly display and explain numerical information and articulate required accounting treatment PC skills, including understanding of accounting software applications
?Ability to analyze non-routine transactions and those requiring judgment
