Sanitation Worker (3rd Shift)

We are looking for a Sanitation Tech - This is a Full Time with benefits after 90 days. Sunday-Thursday 8pm-4:30am

********$250 Sign on bonus after 90 days in good standing*********

The Sanitation Technician keeps equipment cleaned and sanitized following FDA, HACCP, and other applicable regulatory standards. Maintains the building facility clean and in orderly condition by performing Sanitation duties as directed

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment and facilities
• Dismantles and reassembles production equipment for cleaning
• Uses chemicals according to company guidelines and safe practices

Qualifications:

The Sanitation Tech will ensure that the food processing plant is maintained and compliant with food safety regulations.

• Hard-working, dedicated, and punctual individual with a strong desire to learn
• Knowledge of GMP's and HACCP
• Understanding of and compliance with safety practices such as Lock-out/Tag-out, wearing of PPE, and GHS
• Ability to use various types of cleaning equipment such as brooms, mops, floor scrubbers, buckets, scrub pads and air compressor hoses
• Ability to read procedures and safety information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Charlotte, NC 28273: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Sanitation: 1 year (Preferred)
• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Preferred)
