Job Details

We are seeking a driven and collaborative Level 1 Technician who has a focus in Customer Service and Android products.


Your Role as a Customer Service Technician is to:

  • Work within the Samsung Service Center store in Maywood, NJ
  • Deliver excellent customer service to support the Samsung Electronics America brand
  • Perform Level 1 tech support and repairs
  • Educate customers on the product interface
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose device issues
  • Expertly handle customer concerns
  • Collect and process Out-of-Warranty payments
  • Document all customer interactions via SEA's processing systems

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 1 year customer service experience
  • Is an excellent communicator
  • Enjoys a dynamic environment
  • Is able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Has impeccable integrity and the ability to maintain customer confidentiality

Job Description:

  • Greet, welcome and direct guests to appropriate center staff
  • Answer, screen and forward any and all incoming phone calls, while providing center information when needed
  • Help to ensure center opening and closing procedures are followed
  • Maintain accurate log of incoming and outgoing parcel
  • Preserve basic knowledge of Android OS, and Samsung products and service offerings
  • All other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Business degree preferred
  • Ability to talk comfortably one-on-one, in crowded situations, and on the phone
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Professional appearance
  • Microsoft Office Proficient
