Position Overview:
The Sample Accountability Analyst will be responsible for analyzing sales field sample activities, while ensuring accurate and timely sample reporting to the client. The position will assist field sales management and the Sample Accountability Manager with all pertinent sample information while strictly adhering to client SOP’s and the FDA’s Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA).
Responsibilities:
- Serve as main point of contact for field sales representatives and home office personnel to assess field needs and propose problem resolution.
- Manage incoming data from external vendor and address exceptions identified by our data validation process.
- Assist in the quarterly reconciliation analysis, and provide feedback and guidance to field sales representatives.
- Coordinate sample accountability processing for terminated sales representatives.
- Work with client’s sample accountability onboarding process for new hires.
- Monitor sample activities and exceptions while advising field sales representatives of PDMA regulations and client specific SOPS.
- Identify and report all suspicious and/or diversionary sampling activity to the client.
- Provide ad hoc sample trending reports requested by client.
- Manage the processing of the Doctor Verification Letters.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards.
- Compliance with all personnel policies.
Skill / Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or a minimum of three years of equivalent work experience in sample accountability, compliance or related field strongly preferred or at manager’s discretion.
- Experience working and supporting a pharmaceutical sales organization strongly desired.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, primarily Microsoft Excel required.
- Exceptional Customer Service skills required.
- Must have demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications and relationship building.
- Must be detail oriented while possessing sound decision-making and analytical skills.
