Job Description
We are looking for a competent Office & Sales Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative & sales operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Responsibilities
- Entering & submitting customer Special Order Sales
- Following up on outstanding customer orders, sales, install
- Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel on occasion to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores. In a sales environment w/ required sales goals
- Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
- Recommend and display items that match customer needs
- Welcome and greet customers
- Manage point-of-sale processes
- Keep up to date with product information
- Accurately describe product features and benefits
- Follow all companies policies and procedures
- Must have Microsoft Office experience: Excel, Word mainly
- Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures
- Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
- Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
- Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
- Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
- Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
- Perform receptionist duties when needed
Pay Rate & Hours
- Job Type: Full-time, M-F 8:Am- 5:PM/ Saturdays 8:AM-1:PM or by appointments per request if needed by client.
- Salary/ Pay $15-$20 (Depending on Experience & Growth)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
