Salesforce Solutions Architect - Hybrid/Remote

Be the Match is a non-profit organization in the exciting and rapidly evolving cellular therapy industry. We seek a Salesforce Solution Architect to oversee our substantial and growing set of capabilities on the Salesforce platform, enabling operations, customer service, marketing, and sales.

The Solutions Architect is responsible for developing strategic & tactical, project-based solutions, road maps and solutions artifacts to define and solve business challenges facing the organization. This role will work in collaboration with business and technology partners to ensure that technology decisions and future-state definitions align with the strategic and enterprise objectives set forth by leadership. ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Be a trusted technical advisor to the wider technology team, management and business stakeholders.
• Provides guidance on solution architecture design, integration patterns and development best practices, architecture standards, environment management, testing automation.
• Manages our customer expectations and negotiates solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third-party partners.
• Work closely with Product owners, business analysts to evaluate and refine business and technical requirements.
• Provide technical design, effort estimations and dependencies for projects.
• Identifies and manages gaps and risk areas and commits to seeing an issue through to complete resolution.
• Define technical requirements to help develop secure, high performing, scalable and maintainable system.
• Builds relationships with business partners and plays the role of liaison between business SMEs and technical experts.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership in solution architecture and design to external or outsourced development teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of:

• APEX programing, Lightning Web Component (LWC) design, Workflow tools
• Exposure to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience/ Community cloud and
• Pardot / Marketing cloud
• SOA and Micro service-based architecture, Data integrations
• DevOps / Continuous integration (CICD) pipelines

Ability to:

• Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.
• Learn business use cases quickly and effectively convey complex ideas/ solutions to audiences of diverse background and technical exposure.
• Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems, prove-out implementations with lightweight proof-of-concept artifacts.

• Anticipate stakeholder needs, develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realizes they are required.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Finance or Engineering with an emphasis in Information Technology. Equivalent related experience and/or education may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• 5+ years of experience as an architect or technology lead in large scale organization involving Enterprise CRM and SaaS platforms like Salesforce.
• Demonstrated experience with Iterative, Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall software development methodologies.
• Exposure to key areas of application and architecture, including integration technologies, single sign on, cloud services, and master data management.
• Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration.
• Demonstrated guidance of customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging technologies that drive increased business value.
• Polished speaker with the ability to evangelize best practices at various levels within a large organization.
• Experience with continuous integration and collaboration tools like JIRA, GitHub and Confluence.
