Salesforce Commerce Cloud Architect

Salesforce ArchitectureAriat International, Inc. is looking for an eCommerce Engineering Architect to join our digital commerce development team. The Ariat digital commerce development team is responsible for designing, developing and delivering innovative and iterative digital solutions that respond to evolving business needs and drive business results.
The Ariat digital commerce development team operates at the center of the company’s business transformation efforts. We work to innovate differentiated consumer experiences, create and capture more business value for the organization, and enable a modern digital commerce platform. Ariat IT team members are relationship managers, technical experts, and innovators in the service of developing new capabilities, end-to-end solutions, and optimized architectures. This is a great opportunity within the Ariat digital commerce development team and to be on the front-line of enabling strategic business change at Ariat.
As a Salesforce technical architect and lead, you will draw on your skills and experience to assess business requirements and architecture in order to design secure technical solutions that maximize the potential of the Salesforce platform along with leading and driving high performing teams.

You will lead, provide guidance on application and integration development best practices and enterprise architecture standards, and work closely with functional specialists to develop creative business solutions, solving some of the most exciting problems for our digital omnichannel solutions.
Responsibilities

• As an architect of the development team, you will apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems, weigh the considerations of deploying using clicks/declarative versus code and ensure development guidelines are met to grow and maintain a stable Salesforce ecosystem.
• This role will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Salesforce Product Owners, consultants, contractors, and on-shore/off-shore resources to design solutions that accomplish desired business outcomes.
• Responsibilities include system integrations, administration, analysis, design, and coding.
• Review and correcting project/program direction, approach, and key artifacts to keep programs on track and solutions extendable and maintainable going forward
• Manage business expectations; negotiate solutions to complex problems
• Contribute to the growth of the practice by identifying and leading internal strategic initiatives, leveraging junior teammates to achieve individual, as well as team growth; serving as an active contributor to the practice knowledge and resource base; mentor, educate, and enrich technical and non-technical Salesforce customer and partner colleagues
• Collaborate with amazing digital experts across disciplines to innovate and create great solutions.
• This role will be required to partner closely with corporate information security, business stakeholders, product managers, and project managers in developing solutions to ensure they are compliant with policies and strategies in our dynamic environment.

Skill Requirements
You’ll have strong Salesforce technical skills including a number of the following:

• One or more certifications from the architect track such as Certified Application / Systems / Technical Architect.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science, or equivalent degree is helpful but not required.
• 5+ years’ experience as a senior architect in a mid to large sized organization with demonstrated leadership driving an organizational transformation in a matrixed organization.
• Polished speaker with the ability to evangelize best practices at various levels within a large organization.
• Strong presentation skills. Able to effectively present and defend point of view to a variety of audiences.
• Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including SFMC, SFRA M and Service Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture and knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem such as Service Cloud, SFMC, SFRA, Einstein solutions.
• Experience in setting vision and standards for the development and integration of the Salesforce platform.
• 10+ years of enterprise experience, including implementation experience with one or more common enterprise software solutions (e.g. CRM, ERP), and management of more junior technical resources
• Experience delivering projects using agile Scrum methodology.

Other Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Development experience in SFRA
• A/B testing using Optimizely or Adobe
• Log management using Sumo Logic, Splunk
• Full Stack development experience
• Experience leading development projects
• Experience working in an Agile environment and on an Agile work team
• Passion in Exploring and learning other ecommerce platform such as Shopify, commerce tools and headless architecture using .Net.
• This position will be held in the Dallas Fort Worth location
