Ferrellgas is looking for a Sales Support Specailist to join the team! This position is responsible for all data entry of orders and customer agreements for the retail Sales team. The incumbent also is responsible for responding to customer inquiries and issues in a timely manner.

Essential Functions:
- Assists with Input of new accounts and other admin functions.
- Involved with all Chatter Groups and email chains.
- Completes all set-up processes outside Account Manager access.
- Tracks process and communicates status as needed.
- Partners with Account Managers to make inside sales calls, follow up to IC and other leads/prospects and schedules appointments for sales meetings.
- Documents the information in Sales Fore and communicates finding with Account Managers.
- Develops weekly and monthly reports to assist in asset utilization.
- Enters all new and modified account/location data into the customer database received from field account managers.
- Executes status changes within user interface for our customer database, including accounts/locations per requests from sales, accounting, and operations personnel.
- Distributes state tax documents to Ferrellgas tax department on a monthly basis.
- Handles customer calls relating to any account maintenance or complaints of service; investigates the basis of the complaint; and answers account questions, issues, and problems.
- Follows up on customer inquiries via email or phone with accounts when appropriate to ensure key tasks are completed.
- Sends new account packets via fax or mail to new customer or new owners of existing accounts/locations.
- Produces and sends various sales reports to appropriate departments and personnel.
- Updates Salesforce account information with necessary data points required for database integration.
- Updates pricing structures within customer database account pages at the request of field sales manager or manager.
- Processes and releases purchase orders for orders with customers.
- Helps minimize the number of de-install requests that originate from high volume and profitable locations.
- Executes a "natural selections" de-install process that focuses on discontinuing service to poor or low performing locations.
- Documents, maintains, and follows up on database requests within internal IT audit tools.
- Executes other projects as requested by the Regional Sales Managers and local field leadership teams
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 years of experience in sales and administrative tasks, including hands on experience working with customers at all levels.
- Must have customer service focused approach to work.
- Demonstrates ability to manage heavy workload on a consistent basis.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Solid Microsoft Office skills.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
