eHealth is growing our organization and looking for career driven Sales Support Representatives to join our newly formed team in Salt Lake City, UT. You will help clients navigate one of the most important purchasing decisions of their life. As a Sales Support Representative, you will listen and assist customers regarding Medicare Advantage benefits, eligibility, enrollment, claims, referrals, prior authorizations, appeals & grievances, and other related concerns with the ultimate goal of introducing them to our licensed insurance agents. We encourage our Sales Support Representatives to follow a swift path of growth, enabling you to do more and get paid more, fast. Success within this role will provide development to be a successful licensed agent. Since we partner with more than 60+ A rated health insurance companies, you will be the first touchpoint for the client, helping to ensure that they are selecting the best coverage options available to them.

Training and Growth

What you will do:

  • Handle inbound customer phone calls as the first point of contact to clearly identify and act on customer needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Gather key information from customers to assist in transferring to the correct department
  • Maintain a consistently positive attitude and customer first approach to deliver a superior customer experience
  • Attempt to resolve the customer’s inquiry completely during the first phone call, if unable to do, escalate to the appropriate department for further assistance
  • Provide accurate and complete information using the tools provided
  • Keep detailed written records of each telephone encounter during the call

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years customer service or sales experience; preferably in a call center environment
  • Ability to obtain your Health resident insurance license
  • High speed hardwired internet connection with 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including active listening and probing techniques
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor, practicing strict confidentiality on all platforms for all sensitive information
  • Ability to document information while on the phone with the members
  • Comfortable with laptop or desktop computers, cell phones and the ability to navigate mobile apps. This also includes knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
