Job Description
OverviewCanon U.S.A., Inc., a respected leader in the Imaging and Office Equipment industry, has an opportunity in Melville, NY to support the ISG (Imaging Solutions Group) promotions. The Account Relations Representative provides promotional expense management for a group of accounts. The day to day management of these accounts consists of creating urgent, time sensitive pricing agreements ensuring correct pricing, validating and issuing promotional credits, managing and reconciling sales budgets/funds. This position communicates daily with sales, sales support, credit, CITS (Canon Information and Technology Services) and other internal and external entities.

If you have advanced Excel experience providing sales support, this may be the job for you! The successful candidate will proactively identify credit issues, request supporting documentation, resolve issues and more! Responsibilities
  • Enter Account Promotional Funds (APF)
  • Track budgets
  • Reconcile sales funds and budgets
  • Validate claims
  • Research and resolve chargebacks
  • Meet with Sales, Product, and Credit groups
  • Communicate with our Dealers/Partners, and internal sales team
  • Issue credits
  • Manage all aspects of the assigned accounts
Qualifications
  • Typically requires general education and/or vocational training plus 1-2 years of related experience (i.e. sales assistant, claims account support).
  • College degree in finance or accounting is highly preferred.
- Requires strong excel skills - proficiency in pivot tables, formulas and V-look ups.
  • Must be analytical and extremely detailed with excellent follow up and problem solving skills
  • Keen sense of initiative and positive attitude
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to change with attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees and managers
