Job Description:

Join the Sheila Metzger American Family Insurance Agency team in Hutchinson, KS!

Sales and service representative candidates must have superb customer service skills. They must have the ability to develop knowledge of the local market, prospect for new business and use consultative selling techniques.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

  • 1 year of customer service experience

  • Experience working with inbound and outbound calls, customer retention, and inside sales preferred

  • Extensive experience with PC software applications, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, etc.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a high volume role

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently

  • Must maintain a strong work ethic and reliability with a total commitment to succeed each and every day

  • The proper insurance licensing to sell, solicit or negotiate property & casualty insurance products as required by state statutes

  • A valid driver's license

  • This person will need to be fully licensed before starting
