Job Description

Fusion OEM, an award-winning robot integrator and contract manufacturer, is hiring an Account Executive for the Illinois and Indiana territory.


OPPORTUNITY:

As our Account Executive, you will lead the sale of Fusion’s unique robotic product offerings to Manufacturers and Job Shops. Use your technical and sales skills to explain the benefits of our robotic products or services and demonstrate our value in the market place. With the collaboration of company leadership, you will manage sales, technical presentations, and market research to create a pipeline of prospective opportunities. Target territory is Illinois and Indiana with heavy emphasis in the Chicago area. Our robotic technology is in full operation at our Chicago facility providing an ideal demonstration location. Once prospects see the robotics in action, closing deals accelerate.


Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will be a key contributor within our dynamic growth oriented company. Our culture is technical, yet fun creating an environment that has us placed on Forbes and other lists as one of the best places to work.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Drive new business with an innovative new robotics product offering by using all available prospecting capabilities.
  • Target and prospect to our markets. Set and execute against KPI’s for opportunity development.
  • Visit prospective and existing customer to present Fusion, our products, and integration services.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with engineering to understand customer requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions.
  • Perform product demonstrations and sales/technical presentations.
  • Explain and sell value of Fusion vs. competitors by showing prospects how the robotics investment will lower cost and/or increase production.
  • Work with our engineering department to quote and secure new and repeat orders.
  • Research and develop new potential customers with Fusion leadership.
  • Participate in trade shows and open houses.
  • Utilize our CRM system for information management, tracking and reports.

SUCCESS FACTORS:

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, CNC machinery or industrial equipment sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required (engineering or technical background preferred).
  • Experience in driving the entire sales cycle, from identification to close.
  • Proven success at building rapport and productive customer relationships through effective communication at all levels (e.g. engineering to C-level)
  • Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Dynamic, results-minded individuals who will aggressively drive new business efforts.
  • Proven sales experience and a solid track record for exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-sufficiency with web-based CRM products.
  • Able to travel up to 50% within territory. (Mostly day travel; limited overnights.)
  • High Energy, confident, and assertive with a strong work ethic.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Fusion OEM will reward your sales talents with a base salary of $75K - $85K, plus an uncapped commission plan. Total first year compensation expected to be $100K-$130K+. You will also receive a comprehensive benefit package that includes, BCBS health, dental, vision, short and long- term disability, life and AD&D insurance, PTO, and a 401(k)retirement plan with an employer match. Car allowance, laptop, cell phone, and expense reimbursements provided.


You may office from home if you live within a reasonable driving distance to our office. Anticipate being in the office 1-2 days per week for demonstrations and administrative responsibilities.
