ARDEX Americas (www.ArdexAmericas.com), is the Global industry leader in the manufacturing and development of high-performance specialty building materials.
We are immediately hiring for a SALES PROFESSIONAL, with experience of TILE AND STONE INSTALLATION SYSTEMS, to cover the GEORGIA market, with a home base of ATLANTA, GA.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, experienced sales and business developer with a proven track record of developing and delivering new sales business opportunities with commercial contractors, installers, architects and distributor partners. Industry sales experience (tile and stone installation) is essential. This is a field sales position with approximately 30% travel including occasional overnight.
Responsibilities:
- Drive, develop, promote and grow sales of ARDEX products and systems throughout territory
- Develop and maintain solid working relationships with distributors, contractors, specifiers and other key business influencers
- Retain current accounts and prospect new business development
- Successfully launch and promote new products via hands on product demonstrations, presentations & professional product displays
- Collaborate with Corporate resources such Technical, Customer Service, Marketing, Logistics etc., to deliver exceptional standards of service to ARDEX customers
- Drive lead generation through jobsite visits, lead generation services, cold calls etc.
- Develop and successfully execute field sales action plans
- Achieve and exceed targets, goals and objectives, as established with Sales Manager
- Represent ARDEX as an industry leader through exceptional professional standards, and a 'customer first' approach.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 5 years outside sales experience is essential
- Demonstrable experience of Tile and Stone Installation Systems is essential (thin sets, sub floor preparation, cement & epoxy grouts, under tile waterproofing, commercial & residential). Tile and stone installation experience is desirable
- Confident and professional presenter
- Able to operate non power and power tools. Demonstrates good mechanical or hands-on skills to meet the needs of intensive and physically demanding field support and service
- Technically proficient: familiar with architectural specifications and construction design elements
- High level of energy and enthusiasm for the business. Customer-driven and professional
- Self-starter. Able to use initiative, work and adapt to a fast paced and changing market
- Able to make sound business decisions, influence, be assertive and close a sale
- Proficient in digital systems including CRM systems
- Able to lift to 70 pounds (on occasion) with a carrying capability of 55 pounds
Education:
- College degree preferred or, minimum high school diploma /GED and industry related experience
