As a Customer Engagement Representative, you will play a crucial role in establishing relationships and marketing our company’s brand in a way that is positive, honest, and professional. The work you do on the phone is directly linked to successful outcomes. Responsibilities:
- Follow an outlined script and sell our products and services via phone to interested consumers in a manner that is professional and honest
- Work with your team members to facilitate calls, manage work flow, and minimize hold times throughout the sales process
- Facilitate the entire sales process from the initiation of the original call through finalization of account set-up for each customer you speak with
- Research and understand our products and services so you can confidently sell our customers whatever works best for them
- Listen attentively to consumer questions and provide answers that are knowledgeable and insightful to encourage the sale
- Showcase the company’s strengths and highlight our brand by talking exclusively about the characteristics that make our organization unique
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss benchmarks and personal as well as team goals
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of work experience, preferably customer service experience in a customer-facing environment involving account maintenance, troubleshooting, or device support
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience with selling over the phone
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in cable, telecom, or wireless companies
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- People-focused: committed to teamwork, resolving conflicts productively, and developing long-term relationships
- Superior listening skills
- Comfortable on the phone and taking calls throughout the day
- Strong work ethic and a sense of urgency
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Persuasive and goal-oriented
- Work experience with Microsoft Office and other business-related applications in a work environment
- Work experience using enterprise CRM platforms
