POSITION PURPOSE / SUMMARY STATEMENT (defines the major functions/purpose of the position)
Under the general direction of the Sales Director, the Regional Sales Representative will manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations in their territory. The Regional Sales Representative will be a true ambassador of the ASICS brand, driving brand awareness in every product category to all accounts. This position maintains relationships and order management with all existing brand partners; and actively and creatively pursues incremental sales opportunities with those, as well as prospecting potential new accounts.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (include titles of positions directly reporting to this position):
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
- Interacts with employees at all levels and departments throughout the organization, including approved outside vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attain and exceed sales goals by planning and driving seasonal corporate sales initiatives.
- Become accustomed with respective territory by building rapport with individual accounts – through territory travel, along with phone and e-mail communication – gaining familiarity with their business dynamic and metrics to produce higher sales and mutual profitability.
- Develop a direct, personal line of communication from vendor customer service and credit departments to the appropriate account contacts.
- Maintain timely and accurate activity reporting, including seasonal sales forecasting.
- Know the product and available sales tools – including digital - to make professional product presentations – both in-person through territory travel and written communication - to all accounts within the territory in accordance with seasonal brand introductions on a quarterly basis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of sales experience
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with Google Applications such as Gmail, Google Hangouts, etc. a plus.
